Copic markers shine through this paper

Bought because it was on the college art class offer list. I am very disappointed with the heavy bleeding of the Copic markers (alcohol based) which ruined the extra sheets of this rather expensive notebook. Rather than trying to use it as a drawing pad, I recommend ripping out the individual sheets and using an easy-to-clean backing such as a melamine drawing surface (wiped with a little rubbing alcohol on a rag) or a much larger sheet. cheap paper like newsprint that you can move around underneath your design as the paper is slightly transparent and you can see the marks left by the bleed through. I've also gotten uncomfortable "horizontal" creep or bleed on finer lines with Copics. Maybe this paper is really more for water based markers or solvent based markers like Chartpak, I don't know. It's a good surface for my Prismacolor crayons though because it's so smooth.

Really thin & flimsy for marker paper
