Review on Cayer FP34 Camera Monopod - 71 inch Lightweight Aluminum Telescopic Monopod with Pan Tilt Fluid Head and Tripod Base for DSLR Cameras by Sal Mattocks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

There is no better glide than this on ANY tripod or monopod, simply the best!

What a diamond in the rough. If I could give one product the best of the best stars it would be them. I use it with my smartphones and for the purposes of this review I don't use it with a DSLR or a big heavy camera but with an iPhone 12 and s21 Ultra and this monopod has made all my other tripods obsolete. Other than that, I own Manfrotto, Neewer, and Zomei tripods. Everything about it is functionally better suited for smartphones than any of my tripods. The bag it comes in is A+ quality and there is a zip on the bottom, handy for small items. The kit includes not 1 but 2 quick release plates, and both have two different size screws for fixing different devices. The monopod feels solid and its grip feels much more secure than my other tripods. Since it's a monopod and not a tripod, it's a lot easier to move around, but the downside is that it rocks harder than a tripod. What you can do is hold it steady with your left hand while using the grip on your right hand to tilt it. But the best aspect of this monopod is the smooth movement where you can rotate it left and right and tilt your phone/camera up. and down. It moves as fluidly as a glider. You can also increase the sensitivity level, and surprisingly, the tripod AUTOMATICALLY adjusts to eye level when you turn it down. INTELLIGENCE! Also, I raised it above eye level, didn't even see it's full power, and I'm 5ft 10 inches tall. I honestly haven't touched my tripods since I got this one, other than to use it to record video from the tripod linked in this review. Amazing, one of the best products I have ever seen.
