Drive looks solid with protective rubber casing. 5-6 days after receiving the drive I plugged it in to back up my files from my MacBook. It works great with a fairly high write speed. After 2 days I plugged it in to try and get the folder. It could not be read and did not show up in Finder. I did a repair through Disk Utility but Disk Utility said it couldn't repair. I turned off my MacBook, disconnected and reconnected the drive and encountered the same problem. It finally showed up in my Finder window on the third try. I thought this must be an isolated case. When I tried to eject the document from the hard drive more than a week later, it couldn't be read again! I have to run disk utility, turn off my MacBook, unplug and plug it back in and I managed to plug it back in after the fourth try. Big disappointment! I will definitely send it back before the return deadline!
