For such a heavy and shielded cable (no complaints) this Monoprice cable I bought to take from my soundbar operate (in front of me) to my It is disappointing for the projector (behind me) that the actual contact point, the HDMI connector itself, comes loose so easily. If you don't have L-shaped connectors handy (which could degrade the signal itself), there's a very good chance you'll need to bend the Monoprice at the most critical point in the hardware chain. A metal case should have a flexible body rather than an inflexible rigid shell, as not all TVs, soundbars or other HDMI inputs are as convenient as we'd like. Check out the photos to see 1. what happened to my cable after fiddling around a bit to get it into my soundbar and 2. what you end up needing to accommodate that tough cable. The rest of the cable is solid and seems built for the latter. If only the same could be said for the actual HDMI port.
