I was so happy to receive my new roller skates today! They remind me of skates from my childhood. They have a small ankle protector that prevents the ankle from chafing against the boot. I bought size 6, they are true to size and are also great for wide feet. They have a cork insole and a thin soft insole which is nice. The rotating cups, cushions and wheels are great. They are made of rubber so your skateboard moves easily. The plates feel like hard plastic, not nylon. Weight or heavy use will be an issue. The toe box is made of hard plastic, not rubber like the wheels. They don't stick inside at all, they slide and you will fall. See photos above. I would say they are made for kids. Or even a beginner who needs a fast, cheap skateboard to see if he enjoys skating.
