This official Roku remote works just like the one that came with your device. It has TV controls (power, volume up/down and mute). It doesn't have wireless audio (where you can plug your headphones into the remote). It has a "voice control" which, to be honest, I personally never get satisfactory results with. This remote uses RF mode (instead of infrared) to control Roku, so you don't need to point the remote at your device if your device supports RF remotes. The only thing I'd like to point out is that some of the buttons, particularly the up/down/left/right pad, aren't as sensitive as the original remote and it requires significantly more force in each direction to activate the to register key shell. The first remote I got was very bad and left the sensitivity behind so I returned it. The replacement remote is better but still requires more force on these buttons than my original remote.
