Feels cheap, piercing sound, doesn't automatically reconnect after power off.

I bought two New Bees for my parents. Each of my parents has their own cell phone. I connected each new bee to my parents' separate phones. They worked until the New Bee was shut down. When they turned them back on, they didn't automatically reconnect to the phones. I had to put them back together. Again they worked until the next time my parents turned them off. When switched on again, they had to be paired again. Also, when paired, they were listed as the same device. I had to manually change the name on Every New Bee's phone to not just show New Bee. Ask me, why that was important. Nice that you asked. Since you have to pair the device every time you turn it back on, my parents both paired the New Bee and were able to pair their New Bees with other phones. In my opinion New Bee can work if you know what you are doing. and you don't mind plugging them in every time you turn them back on. I know some people will say the problem isn't with the New Bee, it's me and the phones. You could be right. All I can tell you is that I've used many headphones on different phones over the years and never had the issues that I have with the New Bee. This may not happen to everyone on every phone. This happened on three phones I tested on. One was a Samsung Note 4 and the other two were Android smartphones that my folks bought from the HSN channel. Also, I should note that the sound quality was piercing. For example, the treble is set to maximum and the bass to 0. I don't want to end on a low note. I have one good thing to say about New Bee. Battery life seems pretty good. In my opinion, of all the headphones I've used over the years, Plantronics products have been the best. I've been using them for at least 15 years and have never had any problems with them. My only complaint is that later models report the battery level when you turn them on. It wouldn't be a problem if someone didn't call. You turn it on and try to answer but you have to wait until the rest of the ear finishes with a power level before you can answer. It's not bad, just annoying. In case you are wondering, I am currently using a Plantronics Explorer 50 or E50 as you know. Before that I used the Plantronics M50 model. Both are excellent and unfortunately both are discontinued. I saw them new on Ebay but couldn't tell if they were official or fake. Hope this helps someone out there. whether they were official or fake. Hope this helps someone out there. whether they were official or fake. Hope this helps someone out there.
