I've noticed that since I've been using this power supply/plug/cable for the device, the TPMS light on my car comes on, along with a message on the dash that I have a faulty tire pressure sensor (located in the wheel ) on my 2010 Ford. The Escape. This is because the plug in the cigarette lighter DOES NOT HAVE AN INTERNAL SCREEN WHICH INTERFERES WITH THE COMMUNICATION OF THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR AND THE MODULE FOR IT. So don't go crazy and replace good TPM sensors if that's not a problem. When I had a similar problem with another phone charger and the same thing happened, I did some research and found out the cause.
