The fan runs constantly, even without load. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I bought this inverter to power 2 small lanterns at camp during hunting season. The fan runs constantly, even when the inverter is not loaded. My deep cycle battery only lasts two evenings before I need to recharge it. It seems like the fan shouldn't turn on until it's needed. My battery would have lasted longer.
