I have never written product reviews and I take reviews as a product with a grain of salt. However, after our trip to Surrey, Maine and Ogunquit, Maine last June, where the water temperature fluctuated between 45 and 55 degrees. Well I had to give my review on these wetsuits for my 4 year old and 7 year old kids. First, the size chart/size chart is helpful and accurate. I bought the suits following the manufacturer's sizing recommendations. The costumes are durable and well made! I'm very impressed with the quality. And most importantly, they do what they were designed to do. Both of my children swam in these cold Maine waters and didn't freeze. No blue lips, no chattering teeth. In fact, they swam for hours. The parents and grandparents on the beach thought wetsuits were great and a great idea. When I opened up the wetsuits the heat emanating from her body and the inside of the wetsuit was incredible. Wetsuits must allow a small amount of water to pass between the wetsuit and the body. Your body temperature heats the water, and that keeps you warm. Good product! Highly recommended! Makes Maine vacations so much more enjoyable for everyone!
