I like the convenience and convenience of storing the vest, but soft bottles are not very good design. They have to be closed "just like that" otherwise they will leak. I can't find any rhyme or reason to figure out what makes a perfect fastener so that it actually seals. This would NOT be good if you were trying to refill at the aid station during the race. The color and soft bottles were the reason I chose this vest over the 12L version. I think I'll send this back and get 12l. He also noted that I am not yet able to purchase a specially designed cylinder for them separately. This is another disadvantage of this option. While it works for other bubbles, other bubbles will likely bounce more. Another disadvantage during the races.
