Review on Seagate 500GB 7200RPM 6GB/s SATA Laptop Thin Hard Drive (ST500LM021) - 32MB Cache, 2.5 Inch by Dave Harris

I bought one of these drives, it arrived fully sealed and packaged as if it were a new product, opened and plugged in, it was filled with the wife's personal information, finances, medical records, personal photos, etc. .d. I notified the seller and he sent a replacement. Guess what, data and files are still on the new hard drive. I told the seller but they saw no problem with the practice. I'm giving 5 stars because when I give 1 star to a review reporting this practice, the review seems to get deleted for unknown reasons. Perhaps a 5 star rating will encourage them to wipe data before packaging these hard drives as if they were new.
