This mineral oil appears to be more refined than others I have seen. It spreads evenly and gives a beautiful shine to wooden cutting boards and other untreated wooden objects. I put my cutting boards on a dish rack overnight to give them time to soak. Nothing has been greasy or sticky so far, although you should be careful when leaving freshly treated items on oil-sensitive surfaces. Stains. Highly recommended.
