I needed to attach a crossbar to a 2 x 4 goal frame I'm building. Without pocket tools it just wasn't possible to tightly connect the cross member to the frame, believe me I've tried. One day I realized I had bought a Kreg light. It took me a while to figure out how to use it after a few initial attempts. The instructions are kind of confusing. I practiced a bit on the waste board, but it wasn't until I watched the video that I realized where to place it (which is important). After that, everything worked perfectly - the crossbar is very securely attached to the frame. For infrequent use, this one works great at $15. It requires fine manual adjustment, and you also need to clamp it yourself. For more frequent use, it is better to use updated versions for quick and easy deployment.
