Review on Bulalu Projector Stand: Portable πŸ“½οΈ Laptop Tripod Stand for Stage or Studio by Emili Hudson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good for the money Good for coasters

Pros: Very large, comes with a reusable bag. The mouse pad and phone holder are terrible. Conclusion: I would not trust this stand with an expensive full extension projector. Not without putting in a few stretch marks first. The tray is large enough that even a small force applied to the end will cause it to tip forward or backward (even when fully hand tightened). At a reasonable height, on level ground, that would be fine, but when fully extended or on grass or mud I would never place a projector on it. The mouse tray is very cheap and is attached with a design that clamps it in place. There's no rim or rim to prevent the mouse from sliding down, and that's because the mouse tray only lays flat when you press it down. The phone holder does not clamp the phone in any way. If your phone doesn't exactly fit the width of the phone holder, it won't hold your phone (and I have a Pixel 5, which is small by today's standards, which was too big). The nice thing is that you can remove the phone holder and use the stand for something else (GoPro maybe? Haven't tried it yet). So I'm giving this thing three stars because I think most people use it on stage or anywhere else with a relatively flat surface. And they don't extend it to the maximum height. So for average use this is a pretty average product. Three stars.
