I've followed all the instructions, the green LED is solid showing it should be fully charged, I turn it off and press the power button for 3 seconds. The LED flashes red TWICE and there is no warning. If you hold the body you can feel the split second as it tries to heat up while you hold the power button. But immediately the cold returns. I bought this to replace my Conair butane mini curling iron but obviously I'll have to go back to butane. I don't think it could ever get hot enough to create curls even if I get it to work. I plan to return it.
