This is glass and I suggest using screw terminals.
Used it 1 time as a pre filter for my electric fuel pump filter when I was bleeding the driver's petrol tank which is not working and needs repair. I didn't want to leave gas in it so it would go bad in the tank and use it in another mower. I didn't know if there was dirt or debris in the tank and wanted a different non-cleanable filter to be as clean and debris free as possible. I used it on the end of the hose that went to the gas tank.
