All my Lightning cables have worked fine for a while in the past and then stopped working due to neck shorts, intermittent charging or other issues. So I always change them every 6 months or so. I've found a solution that I know works the best, but so far it's really surprised me. I figured the spring would stretch and stop working so these cables would do what all cables end up doing. stop working I bought the first 5 packs over a year ago and so far none of them have stopped working (I have a charger in every 'place' in the house, TV, desk, car, bedside table etc.) and the springs remain intact , not stretching, twisting or bending like I thought. They hold the neck in place and prevent it from bending too much, kinking etc. Definitely the best cables I've had to date. If they continue like this, I might not have to finish my perfect cable :)
