This is the first selfie stick I've bought. I needed a tripod for my desk that was easy to use and stable for making Zoom calls. Smaller than I expected, the TECELKS BR21 selfie stick tripod comes in a compact 8-inch length. The instructions and diagrams in the owner's manual are well laid out, informative and got me up and running right away. The handle is very strong and is made of durable plastic. The retractable stem is made of durable aluminum with lugs that lock into place when adjusted without bending or wobbling, giving it extra stability. So far the tripod has been very solid on my zoom calls. Rubber on the bottom of the handle makes it easier to grip and prevents tipping. I was able to extend the tripod high enough for my phone to look down at me, which provided a more flattering image. After several attempts, it was easy to mount my iPhone 11 horizontally. Due to the tension of the phone holder, I could not mount the phone in portrait mode. Bluetooth capabilities are out of the box, and it's nice that the detachable Bluetooth remote can be used remotely. When the retractable rod is fully inserted into the grip, it's much easier and more stable to take videos and selfies than just holding the phone. With a detachable Bluetooth remote control, you only need to press one button to take a photo or video, instead of looking for the start/stop button on your phone. So far the TECELKS BR21 selfie stick works great and I've had a lot of fun with it.
