I was a bit hesitant when I bought this tin of coffee, but I heard good reviews. The reviews, while mostly good, made me hesitant to read the negative ones. I figured that for that price I could buy a can and try it. When I opened the jar, I expected to be hit by the amazing aroma of coffee. I didn't feel anything (I was recovering from a cold to be honest, but I figured I should still be able to smell the coffee). I brewed it in a Ninja coffee maker (https://www.amazon.com/Coffee-Brewer-Thermal-Carafe-CF087/dp/B0174FD5TQ/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1526608140&sr=8-6&keywords=ninjas) . +coffee+bar) with rich brew attitude. When I opened the second glass, I caught a glimpse of aroma, still not the typical bouquet of a freshly opened bag or can of coffee, more of a bit of an earthy, herbal, root aroma. Not bad, but definitely different. The coffee was amazing. It had a deep rich color and aroma. Less acidity and less bitterness with a similar drink made from my freshly ground French Roast. This has become my new favorite and also great in the French Press I use at work. I love the chicory in it, I enjoyed the aroma and the reduced sharpness of a full-fledged coffee drink. I was hesitant to write a good review for fear that Revane would run out of supplies, but I had to say something good. That's all I've been drinking for a few weeks. I went to Starbucks to kill some time and ordered a dark roast and almost had to spit it out. I was spoiled, the sour burnt taste was overwhelming. i love this coffee
