I was concerned about another review (only one so far) that was negative. And I'm not a pro, while another reviewer might be. But this device had some features that cheaper devices don't have. It features line fittings that attach to your car and features dials that screw in to open the valves. Other blocks open the valves once attached, which is worse in my opinion. In addition, it has an additional hose that connects to the manifold (black hose) for refrigerant or oil, so the yellow hose can be reserved for the vacuum pump. While you can't just finger tighten the hoses and expect a secure fit, using pliers isn't a big deal to me. Now I've only used it once, and then just to check the residual pressure in the system. But the bottom line for me is that as a pro you should probably get a more expensive branded elbow with larger hose clamps that only need to be hand tightened. But for me, this block is a lot less work. (4 stars only because I did not fully test this device).
