These cables are charging only. My phone doesn't recognize it as a USB cable. To the credit of the sellers, they only state that they are charging cables. I like the quality but I need cables that recognize USB. I had to go back to my original cables. I also had another issue: when I used the cable to charge my phone, it worked, but the charging indicator never went off. Again, I used the original cable and the issue was resolved.
