As with many micro USB cables, the tip will bend over time and not make proper contact for charging. These cables are charging only. My phone doesn't recognize it as a USB cable. To the credit of the sellers, they only state that they are charging cables. I like the quality but I need cables that recognize USB. I had to go back to my original cables.
