This mat does it’s job and is non slip but it’s so small lol. That is my 13 pound n change 4y old cat on it. That’s their food bowls I can’t place the water bowl on it or it’s crammed together and then food drops into the water. I’d definitely go larger than you may think you need. I originally got this for my medium breed dog (who’s on the smaller end of that) but only 1 of her bowls fit on it so I used it as her water bowl mat. I no longer have her and my puppy is a chewer, so the cats use it now. For 1 cat this "large” size is great or for a toy breed dog but anything bigger and it’s pointless.
