Switching from a glass bottle to a stainless steel bottle, there was a noticeable difference in taste, but not enough to deter me from drinking from the bottle. I switched to stainless steel because I had broken 2 other glass bottles this year, so I decided to see if a metal one is better.So far, it's been decent. I love the straw option, because I can drink it while laying down in bed if I have to, plus it is way easier for kids to drink from it rather than a large spout. The only downside is all the dings and scratches it gets from kids messing with it. In a way, that's better than the risk of it breaking though. I got the teal color, and I do like the way it looks. I've been satisfied with this bottle.
