Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Top-notch Mercer Culinary Millennia Red Handle, 6-Inch Curved Boning Knife: Perfect Precision and Ergonomics by Brandon Mix

Great knife, super sharp. Don't screw it up like me

This is a great knife, incredibly sharp. I was absolutely amazed at how well it cut through the food. This significantly shortens the preparation time. I have two other knives that are the same (same style) and there was nothing that came close. Then I messed it up by running it through my cheap sharpener. The knife was still very sharp, but I couldn't stop using it. I usually sharpen my knives after using them and I ran this knife through my sharpener which seems to be designed for 20 degree protractors. Now it cuts just like my other not so good knives. My friend has a good sharpener and I will fix it as soon as I borrow it. This is a great knife (buy a sheath, that thing is sooooo sharp). Just note that this knife is sharpened at a 15 degree angle and most American knives are sharpened at a 20 degree angle. The sharpener you have at home is likely to make this knife duller than it was before it was sharpened. You can buy a good sharpener here at Revain that will sharpen it up to 15 degrees, which is what I end up doing.
