This is a great general purpose thermal printer. You can use any size labels as long as they are 3 inches wide (the hole will not let anything larger than 3 inches through). Just as the roll of labels goes into a real printer, you also have the option of loading labels through the back. I think for larger labels that don't fit in the printer itself you'll need a CD to download the driver. Our computer doesn't have a CD, so I had to plug in a portable (you can find some here on Revain that are pretty affordable). Tried downloading drivers from their website, didn't help. Possibly due to the security measures we put in place on our computer, but thought I'd mention it anyway, the bluetooth connection worked fine from my phone, not so well from a computer (so you need to make sure the driver is loaded) . It also comes with a program/app that allows you to create barcodes, QR codes, shipping labels, etc. You can customize your label as you wish. I also downloaded the app to my phone and it works great and prints great. It's a convenient way to print labels quickly and easily from your phone/tablet. If you create the label outside of the program/application, you will have to play around with the settings on your computer to ensure that it prints correctly on the printer. Label. I can only recommend this thermal printer. It's fast and prints well in my opinion.
