The most useful "whale" lens for my Sony A6000 camera. I broke the original SELP1650 I had with the camera when I dropped it. The few weeks I was without it really made me appreciate the lens. I always leave it in front of the camera, especially when I want to travel light. I also have a 50mm prime and a longer kit zoom, 55-210. The SELP1650 is by far the most commonly used. When I carry my street camera with me, it's ready for anything. This lens is the most versatile and easiest to carry. Many A6000 accessories (water cases and boxes) are designed for the camera with this specific lens. The lens works very well and is inexpensive. Get it with your camera or as an "international bundle" and save big. I have a small collection of 49mm filters. I have a cheap 40.5mm to 49mm boost adapter so I can use the same kit on the SELP1650.
