I bought brown boots for my girl when she was a year old and I really liked them! They also appear to be of good quality. She wore them often. She recently needed new boots, and I remembered that I liked brown ones, so I ordered black boots from the same seller, and they're not that cool. They look cheap, the laces are made of plastic (!) so they come off very easily. The bottom of the shoe is also uneven, just oddly done. I would recommend brown, but not plain black.
