Review on Tigar SUV Winter 235/55 R19 105V winter by Wiktor Jak ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

Intellectually, I realize that rubber's drawbacks in the low-temperature region are just a byproduct of its advantages (rubber is not very soft, so the spikes do not fly out, but it hardens at low temperatures because of this). In general, I had a dim urge to use another tire for the upcoming winter after feeling the effects of the operation's results since November.

Pros
  • Low noise, wear resistance (did not lose a single spike during the winter), and quite confident control on any surface down to − 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cons
  • After roughly minus 15, rubber begins to stiffen. After that, traction rapidly decreases. The spikes are sturdy, however they don't hold up well on ice if the rubber has turned into wood.
