Review on Bosch GAS18V 02N Handheld Vacuum Cleaner: Compact and Powerful Cleaning Solution by Jason Unruh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good for Bosch users, but not for the car

The cordless handheld vacuum cleaner was mainly needed for my car. I chose Bosch because I liked the idea of using the same batteries as my other Bosch tools. Well, after using it for a few weeks, I would say that this vacuum cleaner was not really designed for a car, and it probably wasn't designed for a car at all. It's a bit bulky for car interiors and the weight distribution is awkward. The heavy battery makes it very heavy in the back, but that's probably better than putting it in the front. My hands get tired quickly when I move the vacuum cleaner around in the car. Suction is decent, but once you add attachments, it's not strong enough to pick up dirt from floor mats. However, I love the fact that it sorts the dirt it collects into 3 different sections. This vacuum cleaner collects hair in one area, tiny particles in another and the rest in the main compartment. It's really amazing! This vacuum cleaner is best suited for those who need a handheld vacuum cleaner at work and already use other Bosch cordless tools. It does a great job with sawdust, drywall dust, etc. But if you need it for a car, something else is better. I could invest in a good corded garage vacuum for my car, but I keep this in the trunk for emergencies.

Pros
  • EFFICIENT: Thanks to the two-stage rotation airflow technology, the GAS18V-02N ensures long-lasting suction power so that the vacuum filter no longer becomes clogged. The micro filter system filters fine dust and allows the hand vacuum cleaner to work even under the toughest conditions.
Cons
  • So far so good
