I do my best not to lose anything but I would be lying if I said I never lost anything. I fondly remember running up and down the aisles at my local Walmart, getting on all fours to make sure my wallet didn't slip under some of the shelves. I was dismayed when I couldn't find it and even more embarrassed when I realized it had fallen out of my pocket and landed on the side seat of the car. It's embarrassing. Needless to say, it's always better to be safe than sorry. When Nonda suggested that I beta test their AIKO-Finder, I jumped at the chance. Unlike some other trackers like Tile (which I've used in the past), AIKO is fully rechargeable. While tiles have to be thrown away when their batteries die, contributing to the ever-growing landfill, AIKO can be recharged if the device runs out of power after use. In addition to being rechargeable, its small size makes it ideal for storing in all types of bags. I personally have one attached to my backpack because it carries a lot of valuables. You can just slip it in your pocket or clip it to something with the built-in slot to secure it. The pairing process is painless and very quick. The companion app finds AIKO quickly and can even ask AIKO to sing a song to help you find it. The song is reminiscent (just a little) of The Legend of Zelda, so it's a very welcome Easter egg in my book. Notes: AIKO is not equipped with GPS, so the app cannot locate AIKO if it is too far from the phone. . However, not many trackers do this. However, you can use the app to ask other AIKO users for help in finding your lost AIKO. Pretty elegant. The speaker is very loud, so if your phone can locate AIKO, you'll definitely be able to hear it. I bought a second one for my brother and he loves it too. As I said, I'm trying not to lose anything, but peace of mind is always great.
