This is not what you expect from a pouch. "Normal" tea bags absorb water, they sink into a cup or teapot, they are porous, they feel like paper. They don't absorb water; they don't sink into a pot; They have the same smooth feel as plastic. I put one filled with tea in a small pot of hot water. It floated up. After being pushed underwater repeatedly, it was still floating. I left it for 8 hours, it was still floating. It makes a liquid tea that's drinkable, so porous, but after 8 hours the pouch still felt smooth. I emptied the tea leaves and the pouch is still as strong as it was before I used it. I could fill it with tea and use it again. After the second use I was able to do it a third time. Who knows how many times he will do that. The bottom line is that it can be made into tea, but it's not your 'regular' tea bag that will soak up water, sink to the bottom and most likely fall apart as you try to empty and refill it. Two stars because it works, but it's clearly not a 'natural' fiber like paper or cotton.
