Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Leifheit 23041 Comfortline Hand Food Processor with Twist Cut for Improved Performance by Amy Fenner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's someone's dream utensil, not mine

Maybe I'm just unfamiliar with manual kitchen appliances, but then I don't use the food processor I have very much at first big, and this thing choked on some slices of bread. Maybe I'd appreciate it more if I had to chop more than an onion or two on a regular basis. The device itself is quite simple - tap to rotate. The blade assembly is foldable, which I find odd and a little risky. Non-slip ring at the bottom, easy to clean, no electricity required. I'm no mechanical engineer but it seems to me that the gear train needs work to require less force directed at the piston. (Here's how it works? I could be out of my element here.) Cleanup is easy. I wouldn't buy it. But ignore my star rating; I can't really understand the device at first.

Pros
  • Made of soft, high-quality ABS plastic with red thermoplastic for slip resistance
Cons
  • Not everything fits
