Review on πŸ”© Ultimate Performance: Timken 512223 Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly - Unmatched Durability and Precision by Brad Lovro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Use only Timkens best for heavy duty axles and parts

For hub assemblies I only use Timkens and Moogs. I ordered these Timkens to make the rear hubs because I got an intermittent "service brakes" warning. I have already replaced the front ones with Timken. The sensor in the OEM assembly was defective. But still an intermittent warning flashed, so I replaced the rear ones. I think I can just use Timkens now, the bad back build was a newer brand from Moog. I removed the back cover and saw the sensor assembly filling up with grease. Thereafter. I'm just staying with the Timkens. I don't want to do this job anytime soon. Actually. I never had to do it again.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Axles and Parts
Cons
  • Long Lead Time
