Review on 🚙 Enhance Performance and Ride Comfort with Energy Suspension- 2.2109G Jeep/Cherokee/Comanche Spring Bushing by Dawson Schmidt

Bought this kit for my 89 Comanche. This kit came with a complete set of leaf spring bushings and calipers. It made a world of difference to the old 20 year old bushings and at a fraction of the price. I've had them installed for over 18 months now and haven't noticed any squeaks or other strange noises. I am very happy with them and recommend them to everyone. Installation can be tricky as removing old bushings is a dreadful task. They usually rust in place. I used an Autozone ball joint press, BFH, cold chisel and hacksaw among other miscellaneous hand tools. I found that using a pry bar and slightly opening the base of the spring on the bench press made the biggest difference, and then using your fifth pair of hands to hit the bench press with a hammer. I installed without removing the springs from the car. Also if you put the new bushings in the freezer the night before they seem to go in a little easier but make sure you don't have any grease on you when you pull them out of the freezer to put in your arms as the wife is using dissatisfied with the grease on the white inside of the freezer or ice cream drier.
