I don't know why people complain about this. This is brown rice protein powder that you don't drink because it tastes good. Regardless of the manufacturer, it will always be one of the most starchy, difficult to mix and least flavorful protein powders on the market. They take it because when you combine it with pea protein powder, it forms a complete protein. That's all. Personally, I didn't find this brand of brown rice protein powder any worse than naked brown rice protein powder (the more popular and expensive brand). It has more of a "branny" taste, but nothing objectionable. Brown rice protein powder is always difficult to blend, so I recommend using a blender. The only thing I don't like about this powder is the label. Nobody takes a protein supplement for 4 grams of protein at a time. This is a useless dosage. Listing such a meager amount as a serving size is an intentionally misleading move by NOW. The FDA only requires information on nutritional labels to be accurate to the nearest gram (rounding up or down) and allows grams to be labeled as zero if it's under 0.5. By making the portions tiny, NOW effectively masks the amount of carbs and fats in this powder.
