Review on Stainless Steel Traditional Minute Timer by Abdul Jorge

Bought this to make 3 minute eggs for our table. Any product is only as good as its weakest link. A nice metal frame is connected to poor quality foam pads glued to the frame. Each end has three small pads and two slightly larger pads that hold the glass tube filled with sand. This method of holding the tube is inaccurate and I suspect it was installed by hand and was almost ready to fall out - possibly due to rough handling during shipping. I was able to move it closer to the center. My fear from experience is that under normal conditions in a working kitchen, both the foam and the adhesive will degrade to the point that the appliance will soon fall apart.
