Poor digitizing quality on Mac OSX / Quicktime
I have two other A/D converters to compare this unit and the digitizing quality is not very good. I unplugged the RCA cables to see if that was the problem and also observed the incoming signal while holding all the connections tight. Without change. In particular, there were digital artifacts and distortions at the top of the converted video file. I used the same original tape and VCR with both of my old converters and the files looked really good. I sent this item back to Revain with no problems.
