The kettle is beautiful and easy to use. Be sure to empty it after each use. I have a gas range with large burners, so I turn it on medium rather than high so the flame doesn't reach from the bottom but flares up the sides. This is an important note as I have a history of overheating. But the kettle heats up quickly and I only pour in as much water as I need for tea, so the water doesn't stay in the kettle all the time.
