Review on 🦆 Duck 286218 XL Patio Door Shrink Film Window Insulation Kit, 1-Pack, Crystal Clear by Alejandro Lane

We bought a 200 year old house, we will replace many windows over time. We live in the North East (it's 2F now, it was -5F this morning!) and it gets COLD here in the winter! The old windows are beautiful, but drafty despite their storms. I saw this product at a reasonable price and thought "why not?" We closed 8 upstairs windows (2 bedrooms, bathroom and hallway), 1 dining room window and 1 guest room window. The drafts are gone and we went from 66-67F in the upstairs bedrooms (with the thermostat on 72F downstairs to try and get enough heat into those bedrooms) to 70-71F upstairs with no cold drafts =). Outside it was below zero. These window covers obviously keep cold air out and warm air out! We can turn the thermostat down a bit and the oven won't work as hard. I think these things just paid off - exponentially! Not to mention the bedrooms are much more comfortable. Easy Installation: Easy, if a bit tedious when installing multiple windows. Worth the time and minimal effort. How They Look: I was skeptical about how these window films would look; other reviewers said they were absolutely crystal clear and I didn't believe it. But they are absolutely clear. Very impressed, see photos attached. When the curtains are open, you can't see the film on the windows. Except for the place where the curtains don't blow in the draft, ha! Today I'm buying two more of the 5 window kits - I'll cover a few more windows and have spare materials on hand in case the kids climb through (don't worry as this product is well priced). May I recommend this product? ABSOLUTELY!
