This is a better quality than the Foodsaver brand. With the Food Saver you can see that the seal is thin. If there is some liquid or crumbs I sometimes have to clean the plastic and seal it as it won't stick. They have a thicker seal line, I'm assuming the plastic has a lower melting point which makes for a better seal. Or maybe the waffle design has a lighter texture to allow the plastic to stick together. Note the square texture on the food storage tag compared to the smaller diamonds in this case.
