Tried these after being VERY unhappy with others. They're strong enough to keep in the freezer and the edges won't tear through pouches. I can use every inch of the roll so there is no wasted footage like other bags do. The end facing the roll is unsealed, so you will need to seal the end of the roll when lowering it to 3-4 feet. I will continue to order these for all my freezing needs. I've also used them when packing soft items for shipping or travel and they're a great space saver.

The quality is excellent, the quantity corresponds to the price. The downside is that the cutter isn't properly aligned to get a square cut because you have to manipulate the material under the cutter to start the cut, which knocks it out of the square. After reading reviews of all the cheaper vacuum rollers I was a bit skeptical about going with any brand other than FoodSaver. About 10% of the reviews indicate that the seal came loose after vacuuming or could not be sealed at all. When you cut a bag to a specific size, the ends will curl up and will not feed into the front of the Food Saver Sealer. You are useless to me. I believe they work great with a vacuum sealer where you can lift the sealer and then place the bag in place and then lower the vacuum sealer and sealer. My Food Saver is a front loader that requires the bag to be inserted into a narrow slot after which it can be vacuumed and sealed.

This is a better quality than the Foodsaver brand. With the Food Saver you can see that the seal is thin. If there is some liquid or crumbs I sometimes have to clean the plastic and seal it as it won't stick. They have a thicker seal line, I'm assuming the plastic has a lower melting point which makes for a better seal. Or maybe the waffle design has a lighter texture to allow the plastic to stick together. Note the square texture on the food storage tag compared to the smaller diamonds in this
