After reading reviews of all the cheaper vacuum rollers I was a bit skeptical about going with any brand other than FoodSaver. About 10% of the reviews indicate that the seal came loose after vacuuming or could not be sealed at all. I just figured it was a quality control issue on the part of the manufacturer and was hoping to get one of the reels that make up the other 90%. I used these vacuum bags on 16 limit sea bass (160 fish) about a month ago. I haven't had a single failure and none of my fish showed signs of freezer burn. It should be noted that I double sealed each end of the vacuum packs just as a precaution. I also store frozen fish in a newspaper-lined cardboard box in the freezer. This is extra insurance against freezer burn and I highly recommend doing this if you are picky about your fish. And finally; Box cutter! Oh my god this is a life saver/time saver. Cutting vacuum bags is probably my least favorite part of vacuuming because it's time consuming, tedious, and the cuts are never straight. All these problems are undone with the help of a carpet knife. So basically just buy it and if you get a bad batch just send it back and get another one.
