Bones bearings have always been the best, but these bearings win! I used to have a set of Bones Super Reds and while they did the job, they weren't as smooth and fast as these. Now when I ride hills I can cover 5x more distance than with Super Reds. Getting familiar with Ripstik is now so easy; Less muscle effort when accelerating = more time driving before you get tired! For just $45, you get a set of bearings that are so close to ceramic you don't even want to spend the extra $75. Plus, with a little love and care, these bearings will pay for themselves and still last a long time. Treat these little ones right by cleaning and lubing them every 3 months, maybe every 6 if you don't ride them every day. Since they are expensive, I highly recommend getting a Bones adjustment tool to avoid damaging the inner race like you can with a screwdriver or other homemade tool. Bones also sells a great cleansing kit and speed cream, which are of the same quality we've come to expect from them.
