Short service life when loaded below the rated power!
I have this power supply for 9 LEDs, rated power 3 watts at 12 V DC each (total load 27 watts). This power supply must be rated at 30W. 27 W is only 90% of the specified power. The seller said that I overloaded the power supply. The first power supply started flashing and turned off after about 6 months. It took a lot of emails and sending the defective unit back (I had to pay for return shipping) to get a replacement under warranty. Now 6 months later the replacement is starting to flicker on and off. UPDATE (3/17/16) The replacement died this morning. That's 2 in 14 months.
