Review on Mishimoto MMHOSE BRZ 13IBK Silicone Induction Subaru by Eugene Cox

Because this is a product review and not a Revain Prime review that sometimes over and under when it comes to their estimated delivery dates (it was a day late). Let me start by saying this is a very well made product. I bought it mainly with the intention of reducing cabin noise due to the sound hose/alternator that comes with all these cars from the factory (2016 Subaru BRZ). I tried connecting the cabin sound output to a 12v plug but it didn't make much of a difference so I tried removing the sound tube. Coincidentally, this one also includes an intake hose that improves airflow and has a claimed 5 horsepower increase. As a result, after a 45-minute drive to work, I no longer have a ringing in my head and the power development is noticeably smoother. These cars are notorious for the torque drop from 3000 to 4500 rpm where the engine seems to suddenly die before you get out of that valley. In my opinion, this inlet hose will help mitigate (but probably not eliminate) this problem. In my opinion, this product lives up to its claims and looks good.
