That's a great idea if you can put your cat there! I've always found it difficult to put a cat in a carrier. I didn't try to accommodate a dog or cat there. He's small inside. You cannot accommodate a very large cat or dog in it. It seems like a good idea to transport a pet on an airplane. Has many holes for ventilation. A lot of! The back is completely transparent to allow the animal to see. The straps are soft and adjustable. There is a detachable platform at the bottom for use. I would add an extra or use a small blanket. Its internal measurement is 16 inches when sitting on its base. If your cat or dog is larger than the sitting one, they will feel very uncomfortable. Whether the cat will actually sit in it remains to be seen!
