I only used it for two nights and the pain in my neck and shoulders went away. Path! No drugs, Tylenol, just this pillow. I have injured both shoulders in the last 5 years and have been going to physical therapy for many years. I recently had a baby and breastfeeding has put extra strain on my neck. In short, I was in dire need of something. I was a little skeptical reading other reviews because they seemed correct. I took a chance on trying this pillow and I'm so glad I did, what a difference in literally just 2 nights. Sleeping on it is not as uncomfortable as you might think. This is a totally weird looking pillow and was comfortable in it all night. It's neither hard nor soft and I didn't detect any chemical odor. It comes rolled up in a box and inflates where it should be in a couple of hours. I use a regular standard pillow case with it and it seems fine. It's not a crazy high or deep wave like some memory foam pillows I can't stand. The neck notch isn't as deep as I thought it would be from the picture and it's a nice hand cut so you don't pinch the corner when you lay down. I usually sleep with my arm under the pillow and I felt very comfortable without it.
