Review on Princeton Tec SWERVE Swerve Taillight by Adan Hudson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best flashing taillight I've found

I use two 'Tec Swerve' taillights on my helmet in strobe mode. They are attached to the helmet with a self-adhesive Velcro fastener. They are slightly off-centre, with one tilting slightly to the left and the other at right angles. So people far behind me can see the lights. I've seen others recommend this for use with the included seatpost mounts. I use it for my helmet. I use a cateye tl-1100 with a flash on my stand and a fixed beam foxfire (it's 6" x 4" and provides a big, bright, easy-to-follow light for motorists to track my position and speed , while they drive ). Notice me (that's what blinking lights are for)). I also use 4 spoke headlights, a Serfas left low beam brake light, a cycling jacket and a Magic Shine headlight. The primary purpose of the Princeton Tec Swerve taillight is to grab the driver's attention by flashing brightly and mounted fairly high in the driver's line of sight. I really like that this flashlight has a focused beam that is clearly visible in a narrow area. behind it (well, with two the range is larger) and an unfocused beam visible over a much larger area. The drivers aren't always right behind you, so the combination seems to work for me.
